Leaning into our sense of Proprioception
to cultivate deeper awareness of the body.

Join us for this exploration of one of our deepest inner senses: proprioception.
WHAT IS PROPRIOCEPTION?
Proprioception is the body's "sense of self," an internal awareness of the position and movement of your body parts in space, even without seeing them. It relies on sensory receptors in muscles, joints, and tendons. In other words, the proprioceptive system provides us with our sense of physical presence and here-ness. We can activate and work with this sense through deep pressure into the larger joints of the body, resulting in a sense of calm and re-gathering of the self.
YIN YOGA for deepening connection to self
This month's Yin Yoga class is specifically developed to lean into pressure and release, cultivating profound sensations and deeper awareness of the body in space and the present moment. Experience a complete reset of your nervous system, while being guided into ultimate support and release.
